GOMES, Gabriela Daiana
Is a profesor of history and magister in Latin American Studies, who focuses on Latin America dictatorships. Her earlier work explored a comparative study on the presence of corporatist ideas and actors linked to traditions of corporatism in the policy-making of two civil-military regimes: the Revolución Argentina (1966-1973) and General Augusto Pinochet´s dictatorship (1973-1988). Corporatist ideas, present in various public policies, tended to legitimize a new political and administrative order focused in local governments. At the present time, she studies the social housing policies of the military regimes in Argentina (1966-1983) and Chile (1973-1990). She published La Política social de los regímenes dictatoriales en Argentina y Chile (1960-1970) (2016).
